My Approach to Counseling

It takes immense strength to acknowledge when you're struggling, and I want you to know that you are not alone. Life can present overwhelming challenges, and when facing anxiety, depression, trauma, or other difficulties, it's natural to feel isolated. However, healing is possible, and you don't have to navigate it by yourself. My aim is to offer a safe, confidential space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to express yourself freely as you work towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate with experience in both outpatient and crisis care, I've had the privilege of working with adolescents and adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including PTSD, mood disorders, and personality disorders. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health from Wake Forest University. My dedication to this field stems from both my professional expertise and a personal understanding of how crucial a strong support system is during difficult times.

My therapeutic approach is strength-based and client-centered, focusing on helping individuals build resilience and confidence throughout their healing journey. I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities to provide personalized care tailored to your unique needs. These include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Trauma-Focused CBT

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Reality Therapy

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

Taking the first step towards healing is often the most challenging, but you don't have to do it alone. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply need a space to process and heal, I am here to walk alongside you. If you're ready to begin your journey, I welcome the opportunity to help. Let's take that first step together.
